Create new crowbar barclamp for OpenStack Manila installation

This was already started some weeks ago. Current code is at: https://github.com/toabctl/barclamp-manila
UI for the Docker registry
a project by flavio_castelli
One of the winning factors of Docker is the Docker Hub. This the a place where the Docker community shares their images. Thanks to Docker's integrated build system it is possible to create new Docker images by just extending an existing one. That's why the Docker Hub is so useful.
virtio-serial in OpenStack
a project by e_bischoff
Currently, the usual way to communicate with VM instances in the cloud from outside is ssh. This is okay for most uses, but a) does not work when you mess up with the guest's ability to network and b) requires a free floating IP. I wonder if, for qemu/kvm instances, it would be possible to use virtio-serial possibilities : from the guest, it is seen as a serial port, and from the outside, it is seen as a UNIX socket, or as something else. It is fast, as it does not go through virtualization and device drivers.

Tool to update images in an OpenStack Cloud
an idea by tbechtold
Currently there is an internal OpenStack instance (cloud.suse.de). Most of the images there are outdated so it's common that everybody just uploads a new image. Would be nice to have a tool which updates at least the most common images (SLE11&12, openSUSE, CentOS, Ubuntu, Debian, Fedora) automatically once a day. So ater spawning a new VM, there would be no need to first update (and maybe reboot) the machine or upload a new image before you can start to work.

Supportconfig improvements for SOC

The supportconfig tool is a great resource for troubleshooting common system issues on SLES but its functionalities might not be enough to troubleshoot other issues related to cloud solutions. Become a CAD expert
a project by vuntz
A few months ago, I started thinking "it cannot be that hard to model my house using some CAD software". And of course I miserably failed. I'm using this week as an opportunity to take the time to learn about CAD and manage to do something with it. And it's a good project where I can deal with interruptions (which are expected).
