There is now bunch of yast devtools but the most of them are obsolete or useful only for ycp developement, which is now dead. It is also mixture of tools to build package, develop single package and new yast meta for doing changes on all modules developed by yast team. So goal is

  • clean up devtools
  • split build tools, single module tools and mass changes tool
  • document what it provides so new developer quickly see what is useful

Summarize what is achieved during Hackweek#10

  1. all yast modules is now tested on http://ci.opensuse.org and tool to load bunch of modules added to devtools
  2. devtools is splitted
  3. a lot of obsolete scripts in devtools are removed ( total cca 23k lines removed )
