The project aims at kick-starting an Android application to manage libvirt-based VMs and containers. The libvirt build on android expedition has already been completed during hackweek 10 and refreshed here. Which leaves for hackweek to use libvirt-java bindings to use it.

I recently got Jeedom working on SLES for Raspberry Pi. However, I'ld love to play more with it like controlling my window shutters. This hackweek could also be an occasion to get as much as possible of the jeedom plugins to work on SLES and openSUSE.

TecnoAlarm is a house alarm system. The input devices are communicating with the main node of the system via an RS 485 bus. In order to be able to plug in such systems in a house automation system, its communication protocol needs to be reverse engineered.

SUSE Manager can do some virtual machines management, but needs a lot to be complete. This project is about investigating more on that topic.

Salt is moving towards a plugable architecture using POP and Idem. This project is about experimenting with those new concepts by applying them to a real life case: the virt execution and state modules.

For years we have been discussing the idea to modularize SUSE Manager. This would enable developers to create their own extensions to SUSE Manager without needing to touch the core repository.

Language Server Protocol (LSP for friends) is used in a number of code editors these days. There are implementations for various languages, but none for Salt States.
