Currently only those disk blocks are checked that are allocated by the filesystem and in use. To check for read errors on unallocated blocks can be beneficial to identify hardware that is going to fail in the near future. As my first project in BtrFS, I'll also learn some development skill on BtrFS.

The problem with quotas is that the feature itself isn't yet mature. At least until very recently, and possibly still, quotas couldn't be depended upon to work correctly (various not entirely uncommon corner-cases would trigger negative numbers, etc), and even when they do work correctly, they simply don't scale well in combination with balance, check, etc -- that 10X difference isn't uncommon. Understanding the code in Btrfs quotas, give a analysis & improvement.

Write a script give the user a more friendly UI, when running the btrfs userspace tools to check or repair a problematic filesystem. learn python & use it.

Now I have two workstations, 8 cpu cores & 16G mem, 8 cpu cores & 32G mem, I'll follow up the documentation https://documentation.suse.com/external-tree/en-us/suma/4.1/suse-manager/installation/install-intro.html to setup a minimal environment for SUMA at least with Server Client & Proxy based on VMs. and I also have backup workstation with 20 cpu cores & 64G mem.
