I am also looking into this at the moment, i was looking at TrueNAS, but so far only tried OpenMediaVault with ZFS raid-z1, and now OpenMediaVault with btrfs raid-5, as i plan to use a arm SBC and TrueNAS sadly does not support arm.

I've drafted some comparison charts yesterday, comparing TrueNAS, OMV, Rockstor, XigmaNAS and Amahi, regarding:
      - Base System Requirements
      - File Access Protocols
      - Supported File Systems
