Description
Do you have a smartphone? Do you have a train, tram or metro track near you? If so this is the hack week project for you.
For some of my other hack week projects listed below, I need video footage, given the theme of this hack week train footage seems very appropriate so I figured i'd partially outsource the work :-) So if the weather is nice find a place you can walk somewhere near train tracks (but keep it safe and legal) then record any trains that go past (landscape is preferred). Then towards the end of hack week I'll try to put it altogether into a circuit bent video.
Also because more people is more fun lets see if we can make this the largest hack week group project ever and if you don't have trains near you maybe there is some other form of transport or something nature related that you could send in.
Also feel free to get fancy, I bought an old Tape based camcorder a while back so I might try to get some footage on that.

Goals
- Record some Video's of Trains.
- Edit them into some form of long glitchy effected Video
- Convince enough people to join to make this the largest hack week group project of all time.

It was a beautiful day in the Adelaide Hills, so I took a recently acquired Super 8 Video Camera and took a very shaky video of a train (I only just got to the spot), then I pretty much missed the second train but got it in the distance. Either way this will be useful footage for my other projects
Hopefully tomorrows will be better, but this is again proof that having the highest quality best footage isn't important here.

I took some recordings on a quite recent Android tablet and after that I switched to my old phone, which can still do some decent job with a horrible quality. All videos can be found in this folder.

Thanks, @jbaier_cz @pgajdos and Tan Neau for your contributions, the Video synth from one of my other projects is almost done and I look forward to using these to test it and put something together over the weekend.

I put together a short edit here to wrap up this project, I hope I included atleast something from everyone, I'm also happy to put your name on the credits of the youtube video but didn't want to without asking first.
If you'd like to see what I actually used the end footage for then check out this kinda similar video that unfortunately didn't get all the cuts quite right. I'll put all the clips together at a later date to run some more experimentation on. Thankyou all again for contributing.
