Project Description

In current state it's not so easy to initiate any action from CLI for salt-ssh systems from SUSE Manager/Uyuni. The roster file must be provided to do it and the roster file should be updated to reflect the changes from SUSE Manager/Uyuni side. There is no any automated way to get the roster file from SUSE Manager data, but roster file is not really required and the roster data can be provided from the DB directly to salt.

Goal for this Hackweek

• Create the roster module for salt
• Simplify the method of communication Java <=> salt-api <=> salt-ssh
