Project Description

  1. Microsoft mu platform has been used for shim testing by several companies. To enhance SUSE shim testing, we will create an mu instance to run SUSE shim.
  2. shimutil can be used to help shim debugging under emulation shell

Goal for this Hackweek

  1. mu: create a mu project instance
  2. shimutil: implement CLI commands, for example:
    • sb-state: show secure-boot state
    • sbat-state [get/set] [latest/previous/delete]: apply sbat
    • show-mok db [der]: show key in list
