I have no one vision of a project just some mish-mash random things I would like to explore for some hacking fun
would like to continue previous work from hackweek11 on the Windows Protocol dissector, some messages are still incomplete, also there are some known bugs (well at least I know about them) that I would like to address
I have at least 2 half finished patches for Libreoffice, I haven't been active in the project since I changed roles, there are at least also some procedural things like a new bugzilla (that I need to migrate my account and credentials to) and additionally similarly something I need to do around openid for accessing the gerrit interface, these things that have to be done to contribute to the project and have been on the long finger for a long time
I would also like to explore some new language, I was thinking about Node.js I know very little about web-ish technologies and I am already a bona-fide dinosaur, at the very least my objectives would be to get familiar with the basics of the language by playing with the usual tutorials on the web, maybe I can also get some idea of some more concrete project from that and maybe flesh it out some more

LibreOffice
- The minor long finger tasks associated with libreoffice (which I used work on) were completed
- completed the bugzilla migration for my account (e.g. just enable the new bugzilla account, never seemed to find the time)
- libreoffice gerrit users needed to associate a new openid with their accounts before 20th april (as google openid goes EOL)This was a pain, I tried with an existing yahoo id but failed and followed then chasing the gerrit adminstrators to try and find why it was failing (turned out I had a couple of years ok mistakenly enabled a 'ghost' account using the same it)
- fix some bugs, Only managed to fix 2
Node
- I wanted to learn a little about node, I took the following online starter tutorials from http://nodeschool.io/#workshopper-list. https://github.com/sethvincent/javascripting I could have skipped this, even though I know nothing about javascript the level here was just too basic (however I completeted it anyway) https://github.com/rvagg/learnyounode (it's like it says on the tin, introduduction to basic concepts)
Node seems interesting, it was nice to play a little with a new language, I only had a couple of hours so doing the tutorial (and the interactive tutorial setup was imo really really super) however given more time would have been better and more instructive to have tried to get something 'real' done
