Description

I've always love how linux allows you to be creative and have a workflow you want, if it's mouse focused or mouse-less or hybrid, or whatever it is. I've been a DE and WM hopper for a long time, but now I'm stick with swaywm since I've created a lot of well fitted scripts that help me do a lot of things: connect to wifi, select the right bluethoot device, but also vpn and even browser bookmarks and profiles. Beside swaywm, the other war horse is tmux with its awesome features and plugins. I've build a tmux plugin myself to follow my own personal method of workspaces management. In the end a good old mention to the beast of all the editors: Neovim.

This is open to all that want to refine their own dotfiles/environment for the ones that have GNOME or KDE to the ones that run I3WM or the new trendy niri.

Goals

I want to improve this environment:

  • refactoring of the scripts used, or add more
  • add some more features on the desktop/window configuration
  • have a fully reproducible environment with ansible, stow or whatever
