Project Description

As shown in the kdevops frontpage in GitHub, "kdevops provides a framework for automation for optimal Linux kernel development and testing". It currently supports fstests, blktests, pynfs, selftests and so on.

As we also have that support in openQA platform, I'm willing to see how kdevops handles its workflow. I feel that will avoid some duplicate work and invalid bugs that may happen in the future.

Goal for this Hackweek

  1. Learn how to use kdevops, and deploy it in the local environment.
  2. Look into how it works in handling fstests, pynfs and blktests.
  3. Sync some openqa fstests blacklist with kdevops's expunges in fstests.
  4. Also take a look at Ts'o xfstests-bld repo, and his idea in fstests.
