I'd like to learn how to use Robot Framework for doing Acceptance Tests of a cli application: Machinery.

Goal #1

  • Create basic Test Case (machinery --version)
  • Include Builtin Operating System Library
  • Use libraries, comments and keywords
  • Run the Test Case

Goal #2

  • Create basic Test Case (machinery inspect)
  • Use libraries, tags, comments, variables, keywords,
  • Use Setup and Teardown

Goal #3

  • Create simple custom library
  • Create more complex Test Case
  • Run the Test Case
