On Monday of Hackweek 24 we received two Milk-V Jupiter mini-ITX boards (JUPITER_V1.1) via the RISC-V International devboards program. The Jupiter board uses a Spacemit M1 System-on-Chip (SoC).

In the context of a SUSE customer inquiry last year, a Forlinx OKMX8MX-C arm64 board had been relayed to me from China that a customer was not successful booting SUSE Linux Micro on. Typically this happens when the vendor's bootloader (e.g., U-Boot) is not configured properly (e.g., U-Boot's distro boot) to be compliant with Arm SystemReady Devicetree (formerly IR) band. Unfortunately I could not immediately get it to emit any output, to even diagnose why it wasn't working. There was no public documentation on the vendor's website to even confirm I was checking the right UARTs.

In a former Hackweek project I created a simple script to automate the check for changed SAP Notes. It is based on Selenium to get the information from the related SAP Websites.

Himmelblau currently does not support personal account sign-in, but only sign-in for business/school accounts. Adding personal account sign-in would broaden the userbase, and potentially attract more users to Linux from Windows (since they could easily migrate their existing Windows account, etc).

SUSE Virtualization (Harvester) has a vm-import-controller that allows migrating VMs from VMware and OpenStack, but users need to write manifest files and apply them with kubectl to use it. This project is about adding the missing UI pieces to the harvester-ui-extension, making VM Imports accessible without requiring Kubernetes and YAML knowledge.
