Project Description

I'm 2nd head of a non-profit association, our goals are to help musicians and kids that want to learn playing an instrument, but whose parents cannot afford buying instruments or paying for musical education. We re-launched our website quite some time ago, but now we need some more features here. In the meantime we have over 60 members, and organization is getting a bit more challenging. Using software like JVerein was not feasible, we need a web based tool for our purpose - and way less features.

This is a good project to improve my knowledge on Python and the flask framework, and recap some of my long-time unused SQL knowledge.

Goal for this Hackweek

For this Hackweek, I want to add some basic features, like user management, tailored to our needs, as well as possibly the sending of e-mail to all members and event creation and signup.
