Description

Weaver (Workflow Engine for Automating Various Executions and Routines) is a tool for creating automation workflows.

The user creates workflows, and stitches them together. This is done graphically.

Think "scratch that talks to external tools".

Goals

The hackweek goal is to ship the MVP of Weaver. The following workflows will be possible:

• Click a button to start a workflow that prints a greeting to the screen.
• Trigger a webhook that searches the internet and produces a viewable document of the resources.
• Upon receiving a message via chat (Matrix, Slack, send it to a configured AI, and respond with the AI's response).
• Every n minutes, check a status endpoint, and update a badge that the user can see.

There will be a website for weaver (domain tbd) that provides installation and getting started instructions.
