Description

Let's see what happens when we throw the latest and greatest tech at the heart of SUSE Observability! This hackathon project is a proof-of-concept rewrite of the product's critical components from the ground up.

Goals

The goal is to explore how cutting-edge frameworks and libraries can radically improve performance, developer experience, and overall architecture. I'll be focusing on a few core, high-impact features (using placeholders for complex, time-consuming parts) to validate key architectural approaches. Expect to see:

  • A deep dive into theming - dark theme is something we've been missing all those years.
  • Verification of a css classes + React component composition
  • A sneak peek at what the future of our product could look like!

It's a one-week sprint to see how far a minimal, viable, and modern Observability core can go!
