Description

Develop some useful local tool(s) for our team openQA testing needs:

Allow periodic or event initiated download of appropriate external resources needed by tests, log changes and backup previous if needed (for reference or restoration if needed). This should be much more flexible than standard openQA approach via ISO_URL or similar.

Schedule tests based on available resources (i.e. no other test runs or saving large data) and general list of tests to run, instead of detailed commands to run at fixed time via cron where it often creates unexpected bottlenecks. Log started tests and provide some statistics. Also allow external triggering?

Goals

Consider various approaches and have some minimal tool ready, which can be useful already and can be extended later.
