Description

A tool that collects detailed system, network, and CIFS-related metrics, uses an LLM to generate clear technical summaries of the system’s current state and workload behavior, and then provides validated, safe tuning recommendations based on a predefined schema of supported parameters.

Goals

(a) build a data collector that gathers structured information about cifs mounts and I/O activity;
(b) implement an LLM-based summarizer that explains the system’s current performance state using only collected data;
(c) implement an LLM-based advisor that proposes CIFS and network tuning options;
(d) provide both human-readable reports and machine-readable JSON outputs.
