Description

A simple plugin addition to k9s, which will enable the users to navigate between the k3k clusters from the k9s view.

Goals

  • The user should be able to use a shortcut whenever hovering over a cluster object that will switch the user instantly to the view of the virtual cluster.
  • The user should be able to click on a different key that will bring back the host cluster view and exit the virtual cluster view.

I'd be interested in trying this out. For the most part, I understand what I have to do to create a plugin. Though I am not sure how to "recursively" open k9s, especially if there is no guaranteed route from the client to the virtual cluster.

At most, it would need to forward the cluster's API service to the client, retrieve the kubeconfig, then open k9s with those available. I'd be happy to hear of any other ideas.
