Description

I read several light novel series both in French and English, and it can become quite hard to follow the releases. I currently use Mangacollec to track mangas and light novel in French, but I miss an equivalent for English light novels, or even better a single app to do both

Goals

• Create a basic webapp that is able to display the list of series and for each series the volumes, their release date and whether I own them
• Create a modular backend that scrape data from editors or other sources to get new volumes for tracked series
  • Support for at least YenPress
• Extensively use AI coding assistant to learn its capabilities and get more familiar with it

Bonus goals:

• Search interface to add new series
• PWA support
