Description

There are some small and cheap USB screens available on Aliexpress and similar sites, like this one for example.

There is an unofficial python project that makes them usable on Windows, Linux and OSX https://github.com/mathoudebine/turing-smart-screen-python as monitoring solution but it is also a library to add whatever information you want.

I would like to be able to see OSX notifications there when they appear.

Goals

Being able to see OSX notifications on the screen for X seconds and then turn the screen off (or not, perhaps keep it on to see the cpu/memory/etc...)

Also it would be nice if it can show the weather, next calendar event, etc...
