Description

Mash API service relies on flask-restx project to perform some tasks for the API. The flask-rest project was chosen because it looked well maintained at the time of mash API implementation.

We've found some issues with the package and the flask version and it's a problem to keep versions synchronized. The project would like to remove that dependency and implement those tasks using smaller and better maintained packages.

Goals

• List the problems that flask-restx is used to solve in mash.
• Find healthy open-source packages that can solve that issue in mash flask API.
• Implement the solution to those problems using the new selected packages.
• Package those packages (if someone is missing)
• Remove the dependency of flask-restx in mash.
