My home infra is in shambles and I need to remedy this asap. I moved to a new to me home earlier this year and the Fiber/ATT Router is in the basement. For 8 months we've been working on dial-up speeds, no bueno.

Goals

1. Take all acquired hardware and set them up with proper vlans
2. Run ethernet to living room, office and spare bedroom
3. Setup Deco mesh aps
4. Setup Suse work homelab hardware (Should be delivered today)
5. Setup vpn tunneling again so I can access remotely

Resources

• Purchased ethernet bulk cable, plugs and tools last week.
• Remember how to terminate ethernet
• VLAN setup will be manual die to switch limitation
• K8s clusters and VM hosts will be setup with ansible and bash scripts
• VPN might go with Tailscale or Zerotier.
