Description
The elemental-toolkit project is used to generate OS images (raw, iso, qcow2) that can be used in conjunction with Elemental and Rancher Manager to easily deploy Kubernetes clusters.
It officially supports x86 architecture, aarch64 is working too (but not commercially supported). The idea of this project is to add support for riscv64, especially the VisionFive2 board (as this is the one I have to test) but it should not be board specific.
I already worked on this during the previous Hackweek, but I forgot to create a project for this :-)
Goals
- Add riscv64 support
- Create a riscv64 Elemental OS image based on openSUSE Tumbleweed
- Boot the OS image on VisionFive2 board
Resources
- openSUSE Tumblweed JeOS image for riscv64/VisionFive2
- A 3 nodes VisionFive2 cluster
