Project Description

Investigate GNOME 45 as the latest GNOME desktop. I will spend time on its general enablement on SLE and ALP.

Goal for this Hackweek

The project aims to integrate GNOME 45 on our SLE [1] platform, mainly revealing the specific gap (e.g. compilers and interpreters, external supportive libraries, OBS) and proposing solutions to make it working seamlessly.

On the other hand, the project will experimentally integrate GNOME 45, dbus-broker and Daike's openSUSE flatpak generating approaches [2] and get a initial clue how well they work together in our previous ALP desktop solution [3].
