Project Description

Learn how to use Jamulus (https://jamulus.io/) and try it. Jamulus is open source software designed to play music online with others, reducing latency to a minimum.

Goal for this Hackweek

Result

Installed the packages jamulus-3.6.2-lp151.39.3 and jack-1.9.12-lp152.3.8 and configured the settings as described at https://jamulus.io/wiki/Installation-for-Linux and https://jamulus.io/wiki/Onboarding. Using a TASCAM recording device as interface, I was able to connect to a Jamulus server and jam with others. I use this setup for weekly jam sessions and tests now.
