Project Description

(e)BPF has grown in features over the years, and it's sometimes rather confusing for (e)BPF application developers as to what features are available for them; and while tools like bpftool support feature detection, it only detects the feature available to the current running kernel.

This project aims to helps make (e)BPF application developer's life easier by providing a (e)BPF feature support table that they can lookup.

Goal for this Hackweek

  • Use bpftool to detect which (e)BPF features are available for different versions of openSUSE, Debian, Ubuntu, Fedora, and CentOS Linux distributions.
  • Create a web page that show what (e)BPF feature are available across the above Linux distributions and versions within each Linux distribution (considering only the default kernel).
