Project Description

I've got an old Borderless Electronics board (Arduino Leonardo clone) and will be following the built in examples in the Arduino website using the components I have around.

Goal for this Hackweek

  • Learn the Arduino basics
  • Get some buzzers buzzing
  • Make some motor spin

I hope to build a slow pet feeder later with this knowledge, but I think that's enough of a target for HW-21.

At the end I switched to Raspberry PI and run the SampleApp of Alexa SDK. With the knowledge from the Arduino examples I was able to make a singing hat react when Alexa is talking. I didn't manage to package everything inside the hat because I didn't find a suitable way of having a mic and speaker working, so I ended up using my wireless headset just for testing. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/4DLthde_1Pg
