This project has two goals:

• To get familiar with AI, machine learning, deep learning and language models in particular
• To brew an AI-generated beer recipe.

Inspiration comes mainly from http://beerai.net which I stumbled upon and as a beer geek, found quite interesting :-)

Project Description

This is mainly exploratory (this topic is absolutely new to me), so it will be mostly about reading, researching and playing a bit. I will try to find a source for beer recipes in JSON (already have a few candidates such as brewfather.app), and I'll see if I can use that as data for training, and ultimately generating something new with my own model.

Goal for this Hackweek

I don't expect to be able to have my own model in only a week but I'll give it a go myself and try to build something similar to beerai.net. On friday, I'll try to generate a recipe with what I have and brew it. It's likely that I will have to resort to beerai.net if I want something actually brewable, but one can only dream
