Learning Go: Build an IRC bot

In order to learn Go programming language I want to start to build an IRC bot with Go.

  • Starting with a really simple program
  • Adding CLI parameters with an existing library
  • Add config file based on TOML
  • Add Goroutines for event handling
  • Allow multiple servers and channels to connect to
  • Build an RPC based plugin architecture
