When we experience a early boot crash, we are not able to analyze the kernel dump, as user-space wasn't able to load the crash system. The idea is to make the crash system compiled into the host kernel (think of initramfs) so that we can create a kernel dump really early in the boot process.

Yes, those VGA video cards. The goal of this project is to implement a DRM graphics driver for such devices. While actual hardware is hard to obtain or even run today, qemu emulates VGA output. VGA has a number of limitations, which make this project interesting.

During the previous Hackweek [0], I have successfully implemented, tested and merged [1] an implementation of the entire C++ standard header <future>. This time, my aim is to modernize the C++14-esque standard library [2] of HelenOS [3][4] with a C++17 feature - the <filesystem> header. The <filesystem> header is much larger than the <future> header which I barely managed to implement and test in the allocated time for the previous Hackweek, but <future> was mostly OS-independent as it relied only on previously implemented features of the standard library. The <filesystem> header, however, is limited by the filesystem API of the OS and as such implementing of the entirety of it might not be possible, limiting the scope of the project (which is a good thing due to the time constraints). The Leap built ftp-tree is from a customized kiwi file, the ignored packages listed in this kiwi file is according to a predefined packagelist, not like openSUSE Tumbleweed or any other openSUSE distribution, this NON_FTP_PACKAGES file is auto-generated by a script - skippkg-finder, skippkg-finder don't support different conditional scenario, in other words, not handle the ignores for specific architecture, we found out we need this feature for some special cases, like binary rpm doesn't have an corresponding source rpm on an specific arch, the goal is aim to implement the conditional scenario support in skippkg-finder then it can generate a proper ignored packagelist into NON_FTP_PACKAGES file, and converted to a matched ignored packages into the ftp-tree file eventually.
