As a starting point to learn and test OpenStack on relative low profile workstation/desktop, I found this project interesting and would like to setup it. :)

Hi Micheal, training-labs core member here. Tell me if you need some help. I am going through the wiki to make sure that it is updated as expected. I could additionally help you make the labs cluster a bit more powerful (more Ram and CPU) than the default config. so your OpenStack setup is more powerful and you could play around with it a bit more.

Training labs wiki page is upto date. You should be able to use it to deploy OpenStack. :)

        Hi dguitarbite,

Sorry I was late, the hackweek apparently ended, but I would like to continue this topic after as it's increasingly interested to me (and probably also Gary). :)

We did not really follow the traning labs as a start, because SUSE or openSUSE distribution seems not fullly incorporated and also we are real newbies. :P So that we changed to plan to walk through the "SUSE Cloud 5/6 Deployment Guide" using the virtual machine. In that we also learned a lot new things, and knows how crowbar dashboard helps in deploying baremetal nodes and also assigning roles and deploy OpenStack services.

You mentioned about the wiki page but I did not find it, would you please share the link so that we can try follow it for setting up lab in the future ?

        Thanks.
